Infinity

I know that a lot of people talk about this, but the topic amazes me.

Space.

Not just space, but the whole idea of space.  How it goes on forever and never stops.  The thought is actually pretty scary - there are no limitations to the size of space.  Or maybe they're wrong.  Maybe space is just a huge room with black wallpaper.  But even if it was...what would be outside of that room?

You can post in the comments what you think of this.

Summon...

June 16, 2013
about 1:55 PM

I ... have powers.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're probably thinking that I'm just another lame kid with lame beliefs.  You're probably right.

It started a long time ago when I was thinking if a Genie and a lamp came along in my life.

"You get three wishes," the Genie said in my imagination.  She said this next part really quickly like she was talking at the end of the commercial.  "The rules apply not wishing for more wishes, not thinking about your wishes for more than a year, and not killing your Genie."

"Okay..." I said, taking a deep breath.  "My first wish is to not have the Genie outsmart me in anyway and ask questions about my next two wishes."

The Genie snapped its fingers.  "Granted."

"My next wish is to have powers that come alive after I say the word Summon," I said.

"How do you mean so?"

"Well, I want it to only make my powers come alive when I say it aloud, after Summon - not in my head.  And  I want the wishes to be unlimited."

The Genie snapped its fingers.  "Granted."

That was the end of the imagination.

But anyway, I always use it, even though I know that saying it will never work.  Even when I "summoned" my legs to stop hurting at a Track and Field Day and they actually did, that could've been a coincidence.  Even though the possibilities of my "summoning" actually working is at a 0, I still use it.  Maybe because it gives me hope?

Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Admiring

June 7, 2013
about 7:35 PM

Have you ever had that person who you just admire senseless?  Well I have that person at every school I go to now.

At Tiffany Ridge Elementary, my person was a girl names this name has been removed.  She is dirty blonde, pretty, and was very popular.  I don't know why, but I always wanted to be her friend.  Once I was on the swing laughing my lungs out, and I saw her in one of the lines laughing at my laughing.  I don't know why that makes me so happy.

Now that I'm going to summer school at Park Hill South, I have a new person.  Her name is this name has been removed.  She is dirty blonde (I know!  What's up with me admiring dirty blonde people?), pretty, and likes to read.  I think I started admiring her when I saw her reading Harry Potter.  I don't know why.  I think it was because she was so interested in books like me.  It doesn't matter, because she caught me on the first day reading that book.

Post in the comments below who you admire.

A Brain for its Own

Have you ever thought that your brain ... has a brain for its own?

I was thinking this while watching Vsauce (Micheal) and Brain Games, a show on the National Geographic channel.  They both talk about or explain science and how our brains work to comprehend everything in this world.  While I was watching Brain Games, it was talking about all these different things in our brains that I had no idea about.  Like how our peripheral vision allows us to see only see things in our sight of vision, and not even seeing everything there.  While he was talking throughout every single one of his episodes, I was amazed.  It was like our brain does so many things that we're not aware of, like it's not even out brain.  Our brain has a brain for it's own.
